2020 Spring Info

If you're new to league and you're feeling a little lost, confused, maybe not sure what to do first... Well you've come to the right place! It all feels a bit overwhelming at first, not sure what steps you take, or even what questions to ask. We hope to cover that all for you in this part of our website just for new families. 

First things first, WELCOME! We're happy to have you part of the GHLL family! To start off we'll go over registration, Preseason, and then GAME TIME! 

Your first step... Registering your child(ren) for Baseball! 
On our website you'll find the tab, "Registration Info" as you hover over that tab with your mouse a drop-box will appear. When it does click on the "Available Programs" tab. A list of divisions will appear. Our age range begins at 4 years old starting with tee-ball. Tee-ball ages are 4-6. Our next division is Rookies, ages 7-8. Our Minors division, ages 9-10. Our Majors division, ages 11-12. Our Juniors division, ages 13-15, and our Seniors division, ages 15-16. If your child has played baseball for another league and has played up, meaning your child is 6 years old and no longer plays tee-ball he/or she would have to attend our player evaluation event to be evaluated on his/her skill level to determine if he/or she is able to move up into the next division. This rule is for any child that would like to play in a higher division level. Keep in mind, if your child is league age for a certain division the website will automatically assign your child to his/her age group. We'll discuss that further on. After clicking on a division it will prompt you to create a user name and password. Once you're logged in you can continue the registration process. The next screen will be a series of questions pertaining to your child. At the end of this page you'll see a box that says, "Special requests/Comments". That is where you would explain that your child has played baseball and you'd like to move him/her up into the next division. After completed it will prompt you to the billing information and your registration process will be completed. WHATS NEXT?! 

Your next step... 2020 Spring FORMS.
You will need to locate the, "2020 Spring Forms" tab on our website and print the 4 forms located at the top of the page. Please print and fill the 4 forms and return them to us as soon as possible. All forms for your child MUST be turned in before your child's first practice. Located on the bottom of that same page as the forms will be a list of dates. You can attend any of those events to return your child's paperwork. If you need help finding our location please call us. The addresses are listed below the event dates as well.


Once you've turned in your paperwork....

We will have player evaluation dates out by Thursday December 19th. (Player evaluation is for our Rookies division & up, this day is NOT for tee-ball). After attending our player evaluation your child will be placed on a team and his/her Manager or Team Mom will contact you. Your child's Team Manager / Coach / or Team Mom will be your main contact for our spring season. Once he/ or she contacts you they will provide you with the teams practice and game schedule when it comes available.
